5-Series provide a smooth sound with wide and deep roominformation. The membranetechnologie of the bass-midrange is “glassfiber”. These membranes are strong, lightweighted and since ten years in production. They have no own soundcoloration. All 5-Series speakers cover a wide spectrum of musical energy. The 5.28 MK II tweeter is excellent in dynamics, resolution and staging.

5-Series tweeterdesign, like the 7.28 Mk II tweeter, is the key to the next step of soundquality and makes it easy to install with an optional full aluminium housing for dashmounting.

Details :
The 5.8 Widerange uses a very low weight paper membrane and paper voicecoil. This results in an extended frequencyrange from 150 Hz. up to 20.000 Hz.
The natural papermembrane has no coloration on midrange and, comparing to the small size, a full bodied sound.
The 5.8 can be used in cabinets from 1-20 Liter and should be highpassed 150Hz.
Slope 6 / 12dB/octave.
