The Helix V Two is a compact 2 channel amplifier from the Helix NEXT range that pairs audiophile sound quality with serious power. In stereo it delivers 2 x 200 W RMS at 4 Ohms or 2 x 400 W RMS at 2 Ohms, enough for demanding midbass drivers. Bridged, it gives 800 W RMS at 4 Ohms for a high-performance subwoofer, such as a 2 x 2 Ohm DVC sub or two 2 Ohm single voice coil subs wired in series.

Set-up is handled by the Amplifier Control Panel, a push-button interface with LED feedback. Auto Gain Ranging detects the output voltage of your signal source and sets the gain automatically, or you can set it manually in 0.5 V steps from 0.5 to 8 V with the clipping indicator as a guide. The Mono/Stereo Mode means a single input signal is enough for bridged subwoofer use.

The RCA input is a DirectDSP input, a wideband input with no crossover circuits, so the signal from a standalone DSP or DSP amplifier stays linear and unaltered. The V-AMP Link highlevel input is matched to the speaker outputs of Helix V series amplifiers, so you can add one or more V Two amps to a V series system using its speaker outputs as well as its RCA outputs.

Stabilized Output Power keeps output consistent when the supply voltage fluctuates, the power supply covers 10.5 to 18 V and rides through start-stop dips to 6 V, and it shares the V Eight’s footprint for matching installs.
