Helix IK S10-SVC2
The Helix IK S10-SVC2 is a 10″ / 250 mm shallow-mount subwoofer from the Impact range. With an installation depth of only 84.5 mm, it makes particularly flat and compact enclosures possible without giving up bass: large voice coils and a low resonant frequency give it bass performance that holds its own against larger woofers. It handles 300 W RMS and 600 W max.
A very stiff sandwich paper cone and a heavy-duty drive system turn amplifier power into clean, compression-free output while keeping bass lines detailed. The magnet has a threaded hole in the back so the woofer can be screwed to the back panel of the enclosure, which steadies thin-walled shallow boxes and cuts enclosure vibration.
The 1 x 2 Ohm single voice coil is a straightforward match for a mono amplifier that is stable at 2 Ohms. The grille, gasket and an enclosure terminal with gold-plated screw terminals come in the box, and Helix publish recommended enclosures with matching DSP settings: 14 L sealed or 16 L vented. Ideal if you are building your own box.
