Helix IK EB6.1-DVC2
The Helix IK EB6.1-DVC2 is a tiny ported subwoofer built in the shape of a car battery. It is made for installs where space is tight, and it drops neatly into an unused battery compartment or any small corner of the boot.
Inside is a 6″ / 160 mm high-excursion Helix IK W6-DVC2 driver with a very stiff, hand-scooped paper cone, tuned to 48 Hz in a bass reflex box. It handles 150 W RMS and Helix recommend 75 to 150 W of amplifier power.
The dual 2 Ohm voice coils can be wired as 2 x 2 Ohm, 1 x 4 Ohm or 1 x 1 Ohm at the terminal, so it suits a monoblock, a bridged pair of channels or a multichannel DSP amplifier.
