Helix IK E8.1-SVC2 MK2
The Helix IK E8.1-SVC2 MK2 is a compact downfire ported subwoofer that packs a lot of bass into a small footprint. Firing into the floor spreads the bass evenly around the car and keeps the driver protected.
It uses the 8″ / 200 mm Helix IK W8-SVC2 driver with a hand-scooped paper cone, tuned to 43 Hz. It handles 300 W RMS and Helix recommend 150 to 300 W of amplifier power.
The single 2 Ohm voice coil makes it a simple way to get maximum power from a 2 Ohm stable amplifier. Helix name the Helix Amplify 201 X-Over, Helix Amplify 201 Direct and Match UP 1FX as good partners. The new plug-in terminal takes standard speaker cable on screw terminals or a Molex plug, so it is quick to remove when you need the boot space.
