Helix HEC BT HD for V Eight DSP MK2
The Helix HEC BT HD is a plug-in extension module that adds high definition Bluetooth audio streaming to your Helix DSP. This version, part number HA40014, is made for the Helix V Eight DSP MK2, and Helix list it as compatible with that unit only.
It uses Bluetooth 5.0 + EDR with support for SBC, AAC, aptX and aptX HD, streaming at up to 576 kbps and 24 Bit / 48 kHz. The audio passes digitally straight into the DSP with no extra conversion, so nothing is lost before processing. An optical SPDIF output is also built in.
With a DIRECTOR or CONDUCTOR remote you get play/pause, track skip and pairing control, and the DIRECTOR display shows artist, title and codec. The module also allows wireless tuning from a Bluetooth equipped PC with DSP PC-Tool V5 or later. A device-specific side panel and antenna are supplied.
