Helix HEC BT HD for DSP Ultra S
The Helix HEC BT HD is a plug-in extension module that adds high definition Bluetooth audio streaming to your Helix DSP. This version, part number HP40023, is made for the Helix DSP Ultra S, and Helix list it as compatible with that unit only.
It uses Bluetooth 5.0 + EDR with support for SBC, AAC, aptX and aptX HD, streaming at up to 576 kbps and 24 Bit / 48 kHz. The audio passes digitally straight into the DSP with no extra conversion, so nothing is lost before processing. An optical SPDIF output is also built in.
With a DIRECTOR or CONDUCTOR remote you get play/pause, track skip and pairing control, and the DIRECTOR display shows artist, title and codec. The module also allows wireless tuning from a Bluetooth equipped PC with DSP PC-Tool V5 or later. A device-specific side panel and antenna are supplied.
