The CB K130.2-S3 is the 5.25″ component set from Helix’s Compose Basic range, the entry point to the Compose family and part of the platform that won the EISA Best Product award for in-car integration (2023-2024). It’s a complete front-stage upgrade: a pair of 5.25″ midbass drivers, a pair of silk dome tweeters and a pair of matched crossovers, all built to work hand in hand with Helix and Match amplifiers.

The set handles 70 W RMS (105 W max) and runs at 3 Ohms, which lets a Helix or Match amplifier deliver more of its power and gives a clear gain in efficiency and maximum volume. Sensitivity is 90 dB at 2.83 V, and the system covers 80 Hz to 22,000 Hz.

The midbass uses a light but stiff injected polypropylene cone in a vented steel basket, with a compact 51.4 mm mounting depth that suits most doors. The ultra compact tweeter pairs a coated silk dome with a neodymium magnet for detailed, dynamic highs; mounting pods for flush and angled mounting are included, and it works with Helix’s optional FlexMount20 rings for a clean vehicle-specific fit. Each crossover has a 12 dB tweeter high-pass, tweeter protection and a 4-stage tweeter level adjustment, so the set can be matched to the car.
