The CB C460.2-S3 is the 4×6″ / 100 x 150 mm 2-way coaxial speaker from Helix’s Compose Basic range, the entry point to the Compose family and part of the platform that won the EISA Best Product award for in-car integration (2023-2024). Each speaker has the tweeter mounted in front of the midwoofer cone with a crossover built in, so it’s a straight swap into a factory 4×6″ location. Sold as a pair.

Power handling is 50 W RMS (75 W max), and it runs at 3 Ohms, which lets a Helix or Match amplifier deliver more of its power and gives a clear gain in efficiency and maximum volume. Sensitivity is 90 dB at 2.83 V, and it covers 90 Hz to 22,000 Hz.

The midwoofer uses a light but stiff injected polypropylene cone in a steel basket with extra ventilation holes for voice coil cooling, with a compact 48.9 mm mounting depth for tight spaces. The 0.75″ / 20 mm tweeter pairs a coated silk dome with a neodymium magnet for detailed, dynamic highs, and the built-in crossover has a 6 dB slope.
