Helix Amplify 201 X-Over
The Helix Amplify 201 X-Over is a very compact, 1 Ohm stable mono subwoofer amplifier with a built-in active crossover, made for adding a proper subwoofer to a factory or aftermarket head unit. It delivers 250 W RMS at 4 Ohms, 450 W RMS at 2 Ohms and up to 750 W RMS at 1 Ohm with a music signal, a perfect match for a 2 x 2 Ohm subwoofer wired in parallel.
Integration is the X-Over’s strong point. Switchable highlevel and RCA inputs mean it connects to almost any source, and the highlevel input handles up to 32 V, so it copes with powerful factory amplifiers in premium OEM systems. The ADEP.3 circuit prevents error messages from modern factory radios, and the amplifier can switch itself on from the music signal, so no separate remote wire is needed.
The active crossover gives you an adjustable lowpass (50 to 250 Hz) and subsonic filter (10 to 50 Hz), both at 12 dB/octave, plus phase control from 0 to 180 degrees. A cable remote level control is included so you can adjust the bass from the driving seat.
